What’s to like:
Virginia has continued improving its overall roster depth, giving the program more competition at several positions than it had in previous seasons. That added depth should help the Cavaliers remain more consistent throughout the year and better handle injuries if they occur.
There is also a growing sense of confidence within the program. Virginia has continued making progress through recruiting and player development, while the experienced offensive line provides stability for the offense heading into the season. Those improvements have given the Cavaliers a stronger foundation than they've had in recent years.
What’s not to like:
The Cavaliers still need more consistent production from their wide receivers. While the offense has shown improvement, finding reliable playmakers on the outside remains important if Virginia hopes to create more explosive plays.
Finishing drives is another area that needs improvement. Too many offensive possessions have ended without points, making it difficult to keep pace against stronger opponents. Turning scoring opportunities into touchdowns instead of field goals will be important throughout the season.

Final Thoughts:
Virginia has continued making steady progress, particularly by improving its overall roster depth and experience along the offensive line. The Cavaliers still need more consistency on offense, but the foundation of the program appears stronger than it has been in recent years. Turning scoring opportunities into touchdowns will be one of the biggest keys to a successful season.
