Below is the top 25 college football head coach rankings based on the coaches last 3+ year results and coaching performance. That being said, the coach that sits atop the mountain is the 2 time National Champion, 3 time SEC champion, and one of the best to ever do it, Georgia Bulldogs Head Coach Kirby Smart with a HC metric of 29.

The coach that is on Kirby Smart’s heels is the reigning National Champion, Ohio States Head Coach Ryan Day with a HC metric of 25. In that 3rd place spot is another SEC HC is the Texas Longhorns’ Head Coach Steve Sarkisian with a metric of 21. Expect this list to change as there are a lot of new HCs, and whoever wins the Natty will of course get a huge bump.
