Top 25 P4 Power Rankings on the HG

Below is our Power 4 power rankings based on different metrics (QB metric, coaching metric, recruiting, etc.) compiled together to give a larger and more concise power number. The team with highest power number is the Texas Longhorns with a power number of 138.84. They lead the nation in power rankings by over 5 points more than the team in 2nd place.

Speaking of 2nd place, the LSU Tigers are in that spot with a power number of 133.43. Right on the Tigers’ tail is the Georgia Bulldogs in 3rd place with a power number of 133.19. If you are noticing a pattern, it is because there is one as the SEC has 12 teams in the top 25 power rankings for P4 football. The SEC is without a doubt THE most powerful conference as a whole.
