Below is the top 25 college QB rankings based strictly on returning production from the season prior. There will not be any G5 QBs on this list, not due any ones talent or skill, but it is due to the competition gap between P4 and G5. That being said, the #1 QB in the entire nation is undoubtedly Clemson’s Cade Klubnik with a QB metric score of 33.6.

Klubnik is followed closely by the brand new Oklahoma Sooner, John Matter, with a QB metric score of 27.2. In the 3rd place slot is the Baylor QB, Sawyer Robertson, with a QB metric score of 24.2. Expect for this list to change as there are so many transfers, young guys, and guys who are just now getting their chance as they have been riding the pine. However, as of right now Cade Klubnik is the undisputed best QB in college football.
