It’s the last week in October, so it’s time to lock up that Halloween and Festive money! Apologies for being tardy last week, and I could give you a thousand excuses, but nobody wants to hear that. We just want the picks!

What a weekend it was in college football. Tennessee finally knocking off Alabama was the prime time meal, and other great games like TCU staying unbeaten, Michigan handling Penn State with ease and JMU finally taking a loss on the schedule.
It’s that time of year again, where we start looking towards the initial college football playoff poll, which will be out on November 1st.
This time of year, fans are clamoring over the coaches poll and the Associated Press poll, but in reality, the CFB Playoff poll is the only one that matters.
It’s the third weekend in October, and the biggest weekend in 20 years for Alabama and Tennessee. A lot of other great games on the docket in the NFL and college.
It’s a big weekend for us too as we got flat dump trucked last week. It happens when you play this game. This is a rebound weekend, so let’s get to it with my best plays for the weekend.
Labels and stigmas are a part of sports. Happens all the time, and sometimes they are justified and sometimes they are not.
Player “X” is a possession receiver; team “Y” is a developmental program; Bo Nix is “God Made” for Gus Malzahn and Texas is always back. You can only win with tall quarterbacks, and they ain’t played nobody - just look at the schedule!
I could go on and on, but you get the drift. Mississippi State quarterback Will Rogers has been unjustly cast with a label or labels for far to long and it’s time we take Rogers serious.
Last week we saw a great week in the college side of things, but a dip in the NFL side.
This week we have a great slate of games as we head into October; both college and the NFL.
As always, play when you can at Ameristar Casino in Vicksburg, MS.
We ease into LOCKtober - as the month of October is always one of the most interesting months in college and the NFL. So far, we are 22-20 on all plays, NFL and College and looking to widen that gap, starting this weekend.
We gear up for another week of great college and NFL action and as always we hope to bring you great selections on the sports gaming side. As always, play at Ameristar Casino in Vicksburg if you are in the central MS area.
We have had back to back winning weeks the last two weeks, so let’s get ready for a great third week of winning.
Week two of the NFL and week 3 of college football is here.
Wim’s winners is ready to go and you can get all the picks below. As always seven college plays and three NFL plays.
After a rocky week zero and a below average week one, we got back on the winning track last week in both the NFL and college. Make sure to get out to Ameristar Casino to make all the plays and get that holiday money!
Renewed energy. Lincoln Riley has yet to coach a game, but he has totally changed the program via the transfer portal and injected new life into the program.
The Trojans boast a Heisman contender in Caleb Williams and have skill talent for days. With Riley’s pedigree as a play caller and his offense, this team should score points a plenty in 2022.
Trajectory of the program. Tennessee got off to a slow start under Josh Heupel in 2021, but found Hendon Hooker at quarterback and it’s been less Rocky days on Rocky Top lately.
The Vols averaged just under 40 points per game a year ago and much of that talent returns in 2022. The Vols are also recruiting at a higher level under Heupel and look like they are serious about getting back into the college football business.
Below are projected records for every Power Five football team in 2022.
Use these as you head out to play win totals for the year at great places like Ameristar Casino in Vicksburg, MS.
Much like Alabama - there isn’t a lot to not like about this Ohio State football team. CJ Stroud is a flat stud at quarterback, their backfield is as good as any in the country and they are loaded across the board.
Ryan Day has a great coaching staff and this team should be better than every team they line up against on Saturday’s this fall.
What’s not to like about this Alabama team? They return the Heisman Trophy winner in Bryce Young, the best overall player in Will Anderson and a ton of talent on both sides of the ball.
Alabama is going to be on a mission and they are a heavy favorite in Vegas to go wire to wire, number one team in the country. Nick Saban has a chip on his shoulder and normally when this happens, it’s not good for the rest of college football.
Spring practice is wrapping up around the country and it’s time to move onto summer workouts and the transfer portal door is shut “for now”.
We have looked at the overall landscape of college football with our intro piece into 2022, which can be found here.
We also predicted our New Year’s Six bowl games, a Final Four and National Champion and you can read that here.
Today we look at the Big 12 as a whole; team previews to come, but below are my final regular season records and conference finish around the Big 12 this fall.

The 2021 football season brought many a surprise, from Cincinnati punching the first G5 ticket to the playoff, Georgia winning their first championship since 1980 and so much more. We have seen massive coaching change, NIL explosion and the transfer portal.
So what happens in the 2022 season and who makes the College Football Playoff this year?
Two teams in Alabama and Ohio State are way ahead of the field and then there’s literally the field. Expect the Crimson Tide and Buckeyes to meet for another National Title, but who joins them at the party?
