The CFBHG college football playoff projector poll is out

It’s that time of year again, where we start looking towards the initial college football playoff poll, which will be out on November 1st.

This time of year, fans are clamoring over the coaches poll and the Associated Press poll, but in reality, the CFB Playoff poll is the only one that matters.

Below is a first guess at how the poll would be if it came out today, using a hand full of metrics available, and using knowledge of what we know about the playoff committee and how they have acted in the past.

We will adjust this poll moving forward each week from here on out.

Right now, I have Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State and Michigan in the playoff if it were today.
