The Nebraska resurgence starts now under Scott Frost

Nebraska starts year eight of their BIG10 conference affiliation this year, and the past seven years have been rocky at best. The Huskers saw success under Bo Pelini, but 39 wins in five years wasn't good enough for the program.

Mike Riley lasted only three years, winning only 19 games and was ousted.

In walks one of their own in Scott Frost, who had a good career at Nebraska from 1993-1997. Frost, who spent time at Oregon, before taking the head coaching job at Central Florida has seen his stock sky rocket as a coach, as he is 19-7 overall, with an undefeated year this past year at Central Florida.

Earlier this week I caught up with Sean Callahan of  huskeronline.com to discuss Nebraska spring practice and the excitement level around the program.
